Western Sky

Tuning : DGDGBD

In which I alternate between four chords, the first two of which
are probably what ME plays, the other two convenient enough. I'm
not gonna write out all the places they switch; you all know the song
well
enough, but here's an example:

"Time" "away"           "I'm not  "think" "by"
                           gonna"
---------------            ----0-----0-----------
----0----0-----            ----5-----7------0----
----0----0-----  Repeat 4x ----0-----0------0----   Repeat once for
----5----7-----            ----5-----7------5----   "anything good will
----5----7-----            ----5-----7------5----   fall"
----5----7-----            -----------------5----

Tuning : Standard

E F#Sus (sus here means barre shape with top 2 strings open)
Time for me to go away
I'll get a new name, I'll get a new face
Time for me to go away
No I don't belong in this place
C#msus (sus here means barre with top E open) F# E
But I'm not gonna ask you why
You think the parade has passed you by
Or if everything good is gone into the western sky
E F#Sus
I hate to see you look that way
All the beauty has left your face
That's such an easy thing to give away
That's impossible to replace
C#msus F# E
So I'll take you in my two weak hands
And I'll throw you so high
Watch you fall forever in the western sky
F#sus E
And when you land you'll turn into some kind of prize
Into somebody's sweet prize
Instr: C#msus G#m C#msus G#m
E F#Sus
I won't see you no more
Who am I to rate that high
The world's a shadow of what went before
The world gives off none of its own light
C#msus F# E
So please be happy baby
And please don't cry
Even though the parade has passed us by
F#sus E
Well you can still see it shining in the western sky
So why won't you stop crying
You can still see it shining
